Custom redaction phrases

Workspace admins and owners can now define specific phrases that should always be redacted, or never be redacted — giving you precise control over what gets flagged across your workspace.

Automatic redaction relies on AI, which means it doesn't always get it right. Sometimes sensitive terms are missed, and sometimes words that aren't sensitive get caught anyway. Custom phrases let you explicitly correct for both — so redaction works the way your organisation needs it to, every time.

To set up custom phrases, go to Workspace settings, select Redaction, and add phrases under Always redact or Never redact.
