Chat shows helpful tips while it thinks

A bare Thinking… placeholder doesn’t give you much to do while a longer question works its way through Chat.

Placeholder thinking text is now replaced with a short, actionable tip, like how to toggle Deep research for stricter citations. The tip stays fixed for the rest of that wait so it doesn’t change mid-thought, and it disappears the moment Chat starts reasoning or using tools. Screen readers still announce that Chat is thinking, even while a tip is on screen.

Ask Chat a longer question and watch for the tip while it works.
