Dovetail Agents are now in GA

Introducing Dovetail Agents—always on, grounded in your real customer data, and connected to the tools your team already works in.

Point an agent at a workflow and it runs on its own—taking action across your customer intelligence platform, from routing new feedback to updating tickets to posting summaries where your team already works. Here’s what’s new in General Availability:

• Triggers. Run agents on demand, on a schedule, from Dovetail events (project created, Doc updated, Data added), or from external webhooks in Salesforce, Jira, and Slack.
• Digital twins. Assemble a persona from real customer data—any customer, any archetype, any buyer—and step into it in chat to answer questions from their point of view.
• Skills. Attach a doc or insight so your agent has context it can’t get from instructions alone.
• Connectors. Plug agents into Linear, Notion, Hex, Salesforce, Canva, Gmail, or any custom MCP server.
• @mention in chat. Run an agent, ask it something, or step into a digital twin’s persona without leaving the conversation.
• Scoped tools. Pick exactly which tools each agent can use.

Agents are available on all paid Dovetail plans.
