We want as many people as possible to be able to use our product, Dovetail, along with our marketing website, help center, and blog. You should be able to:
Navigate using a keyboard or speech recognition software.
Use your operating system or browser to control contrast levels and fonts.
Zoom in up to 200% without the text overflowing off the screen.
Easily read most text in the product, website, and help center.
Change product colors with our custom branding feature.
Print help articles and website pages as a PDF.
We’ve also made our user interface copy, website, and help articles as simple as possible to understand.
We know some parts of Dovetail are not fully accessible:
Most of the editor requires the use of a mouse. This includes writing in the readme, highlighting and tagging in notes, adding references and creating insights, and more.
Some labels and text will not flow to multiple lines when you zoom in and you cannot modify the line height or spacing of text.
Embedded files like PDF documents, photographs and images, and spreadsheets are not fully accessible to screen reader software.
Videos do not have captions and playback controls are not accessible.
Some of our forms are difficult to navigate using just a keyboard.
We’re looking to improve the accessibility of Dovetail. If you find any problems not listed on this page or think we’re not meeting accessibility requirements, please contact us or use the feedback button in-product.
Dovetail’s product, website, and help center is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard. We are committed to making continuous improvements to align with the WCAG 2.1 AA standard.
If you need information on this website in a different format like accessible PDF, large print, easy read, audio recording or braille, please contact us. We will take all requests into consideration and get back to you within a few days.
