It's finally happening. Sydney is hosting its first ever official Config Watch Party—and we're making it count.

Join Sydney's design and product community to watch Figma's annual flagship conference together, live and in good company. Whether you're a designer, developer, product manager, or just Figma-curious, this is your invitation to be part of a global moment right here at home.

Watching together, Sydney time

CONFIG 2026 takes place in San Francisco, which means the live keynote streams in the early hours of the morning here in Sydney. Rather than set your alarm for 3am, we're doing it the right way: gathering after work to watch the keynote stream together, with the full energy of a watch party and none of the sleep deprivation.

Same announcements. Same excitement. Better timezone.

This night is three celebrations in one—the keynote, Friends of Figma Sydney's 3rd birthday, and the official launch of their new brand. One evening, a lot to celebrate.

What to expect:

• Keynote screening—We'll screen Dylan Field's Config 2026 opening keynote at a time that actually works for Sydney. Come straight from the office.
• FoF Sydney 3rd birthday and brand launch—Three years in, and the community's celebrating with a brand new look. You'll see it first on the night.
• Community and networking—Meet the designers and builders shaping Sydney's product scene. Make the connections that actually stick.
• Food and drinks—We've got you covered.
• Exclusive merch and giveaways—Official Config swag you won't find anywhere else.
• Reaction and discussion—The best part of a watch party is watching it together. Expect hot takes, big reactions, and real conversations about everything Figma drops.

• 5:00pm — Doors open
• 5:00–6:00pm — Arrival, registration, food and drinks
• 6:00–7:30pm — Keynote screening
• 7:30–9:00pm — Networking
• 9:00pm — Event ends

Registration notice: Spots are limited and registrations are approved based on capacity. Please arrive on time—after 6pm there may be no one at the door to let you in. Bring your ID and ticket; attendee identities will be verified at the entrance. If you can't make it, please cancel your spot as soon as possible—cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event won't be valid.
