Contact automation (Beta)

We know manually assigning speakers and filling in contact details after every interview is tedious.

Contact automation is now available to try out in beta. When you upload a video or audio file and transcribe it in a Project, Dovetail automatically identifies participant details from your integrations and transcript content. Names and emails are pulled from Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or calendar integrations where available, and AI fills in the rest, like company names and job titles, directly from the conversation itself.

Choose whether Dovetail automatically creates new contacts, updates existing ones only, or stays out of the way entirely. You can also map custom fields so details mentioned during interviews are captured exactly where you want them.
