Dovetail recently achieved ISO 27001 certification—the international standard for information security management that establishes a framework for organizations to establish, implement, operate, monitor, review, maintain, and continually improve an information security management system.
One of Dovetail’s core values is “Put the customer first.” A huge part of this is our commitment to protecting the security of our customers’ data. It’s not just an afterthought for us, but an intentional choice that we make in our everyday work. In fact, for those who attended our Insight Out conference, you might remember that I hosted an entire session on how we approach security at Dovetail (if you weren’t there, check out the recording). Security isn’t just a checkbox for us, it’s foundational to how we build and maintain your trust, and it’s a job my team (and all of Dovetail) takes very seriously. It’s a core part of our company culture.
This means going beyond table stakes compliance such as GDPR and HIPAA readiness. In addition, we continually assess and improve our security posture. This includes our newly-minted ISO 27001 certification, along with SOC 2 Type II compliance.

This includes all the information you need about our security measures, real-time monitoring, and supporting documentation. You can subscribe to alerts that inform you when any changes have been made, and even use our built-in chatbot to find the specific information you need, fast. This site is so comprehensive, other companies have asked for our advice on how to implement best practices in building their own trust centers!
