Quick search improvements

Quick Search helps you quickly find the right objects across your workspace so you can answer questions faster, make decisions with confidence, and avoid digging through irrelevant content.

Here are some recent improvements:

• Group by recency

  Results are now grouped by what you’ve interacted with recently, so what you were just looking at floats to the top.

• Result counts upfront

  We show how many matches were found across your workspace from your search, so you can instantly judge the scope of a topic.

• Magic summary

  Searches now include a short AI summary of the relevant content, giving you an overview grounded in evidence before you dig deeper into data and docs.

• Questions nudge you to Chat

  If you type something that looks like a question, Dovetail now highlights the Ask in Chat option so you can have a natural language conversation that's grounded in your data, instead of filtering through static results.
