Improvements to Dovetail MCP server

You can now bring your customer feedback directly into your AI workflows with new custom MCP connectors. This enables AI tools to securely access and search your Dovetail workspace, so you can generate outputs like product requirements, reports, feature ideas and prototypes grounded in real customer feedback, without switching tools.

With MCP, you can generate outputs grounded in real user insights by:

• asking questions about your customer data
• getting summaries of specific projects, folders, or sets of insights
• asking the AI to find specific customer quotes

To connect, go to Settings → Integrations → MCP server and choose your connection method:

• API token: generate a personal API key to connect most MCP-compatible tools
• Local server: run a lightweight script for tools like Claude Desktop

Once connected, your customer data becomes directly accessible to your AI tools, helping you create more accurate outputs grounded in what your customers are actually saying.
