TermsPrivacy PolicyStart discussions on your research, and pull people into conversations with mentions. Comments can be added to content across the workspace by any manager, contributor or viewer.
Comments can be added to data and insights at the top-level or in-line. Any comments left will notify the creator and any users mentioned.
To add a comment to a note, simply open the comments tab in the note sidebar by pressing the comment icon and pressing Add a comment.
To add a comment to an insight, simply press the 💬 Comment button at the top of the insight.
To add an inline comment, select a specific range of text from a note or insight and click 💬 Comment from the action bar.
For notes, once your comment has been posted, you'll find the thread in the note sidebar by opening the comments tab, and for insights, you can press the comment icon next to the text within the insight.
Type an @
in a comment to search for any user who can be mentioned. Mentioning a user will send a notification directly to them that can be opened.
You can delete any comment that you have posted. To do this, hover over your comment to surface and click on ••• (Actions) in the top right corner. From there, select Delete.
At this time, you cannot delete comments posted by other users.
No, they will only receive the notification once they have access to the project or folder.
