How to navigate Dovetail

The framework for each plan is that you will have access to a single Dovetail workspace that your organization can access and contribute to. A workspace houses all projects and is managed predominantly by workspace admins.

Home is a shared team space where you can view recent projects and discover new insights created across the workspace.

Enterprise workspaces can customize their home pages and create custom feeds, allowing them to create curated pages populated in real time with data from across the entire workspace.

Projects are databases where you can dive deep into a specific topic or area of interest and transform your data into insights. They are a space for you to thoroughly analyze data-rich sources like customer interviews, usability tests, sales calls, or past research papers and draw very detailed insights.

Channels classify and track themes in always-on, high volume data sets over time. They provide a birds-eye view of your customers by making sense of support tickets, product reviews, NPS, or churn responses.

Our full-text global search lets you find data and insights across your workspace. For an advanced search, you can leverage exact matching, semantic search, filters, and search summaries to find exactly what you need.

All users have access to search; however, they will only be able to surface content they have permission to see.

Your work is a dedicated space for you. This is where you can star specific projects and folders, navigate quickly to those you've recently edited, or find what you've recently viewed.

Access your account settings, connected integrations, and notifications by selecting ⚙️ Settings in the sidebar. If you're an admin, this is where you'll be able to manage users, billing, and security settings.
