Import data from Userbrain

You can export data from Userbrain for analysis in Dovetail.

1. Go to your Dashboard and select a test.

2. Use the "Export" button to reveal the dropdown.

3. Now you can choose between exporting all results or exporting all comments as ".csv" files.

Once you have the CSV file of your test results from Userbrain, you can import this file to create new notes in Projects. Inside a project, click a Notes View, then:

1. Click Import.

2. Click Create notes from a spreadsheet.

3. Choose the .csv file you downloaded from Userbrain.

You can then map any columns from Userbrain as a title for your notes, along with any additional fields.

You can also download video recordings from Userbrain and store these in Dovetail alongside your transcripts.

To download a video recording:

1. Open the video on Userbrain.

2. Click Download video in the video settings in the player.

Once downloaded, you can then upload your video to Dovetail.
