The Dovetail community is a place for you to connect with like-minded people and level up your research practice. From analyzing app reviews to prototype testing, choose a template to suit virtually any research goal. You can also share your project templates or tag boards created by submitting this to the community for others to use.
In the community, you'll find project and tag board templates that have been published by the community.
Project templates include everything you need to set up your project. They're tried and tested approaches to help you get from raw data to insights. You’ll find the Readme, views, fields, tag boards, layouts, and more—just add data and get tagging.
Tag boards are tagging taxonomies that help you add structure to your analysis. You’ll find tags, groups, colors, descriptions, and ordering, and they can be applied to any existing project.
Anyone with a Dovetail contributor or manager role can view, duplicate, and edit their own version of any project template.
To import a project from the community into your workspace, go to Community > Projects > Select a project template > Install.
Once successfully installed, you will see a pop-up to View the project in your workspace. Alternatively, navigate to Projects to see the new project in your workspace ready to use and edit.

Write a description of your project template. Use this space to tell people about the project, how they can use it, who might find it helpful, or describe how it’s been useful for you.
Add some labels to help us categorize your file and to help others find it.
