Change your password

You can change your password at any time.

1. Visit the log in page.

2. Type your email address and click Continue.

If your email address is associated with only one workspace:

1. Click Reset password below the form.

2. Check your email and follow the instructions.

If your email address is associated with multiple workspaces:

1. Check your email to confirm your address.

2. Click the workspace you’d like to reset your password for.

3. Click Reset password below the form.

4. Check your email and follow the instructions.

Note: If your workspace admin has disabled the ability to authenticate to Dovetail using a password, then you won’t have the ability to change your password on the security page.

1. Visit the user security page.

2. Click Set a new password.

3. Check your email and click Change password.

4. Type a new password, then click Change password.

Your account won’t have a password if you initially signed up via Google or Microsoft. To set a password, follow the ‘while logged in’ steps above.
