In this lesson, you will learn what you can import into projects, what to expect after import and how you can bring data into your project automatically.
You can import recordings (audio and video) as well as documents like PDFs, presentations, and Word docs into a project.
When importing files into a project, each file will be stored as a standalone object within your project. For example, if you are importing multiple customer interview recordings, each recording will be stored as there own object so they can be summarized, transcribed, and analyzed individually.
To import data into your project, click on Import, select your import method, and choose your files to import.
If you use Google Drive, Zoom, or OneDrive in your current tool stack, we recommend selecting one of these tools to connect your account to Dovetail and start streamlining how you bring data into projects.
