Hamish Henderson is a designer, researcher, academic, and technology executive working at the intersection of human-computer interaction, human-centred design, product strategy, and technology commercialisation. He is currently the CEO of Resparke, an aged care technology company focused on wellbeing and engagement, and holds positions as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at The University of Sydney and Industry Fellow at UTS. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery, and a senior member of the Australian Computing Society.
With nearly two decades of experience across start-ups, research, and consulting, Hamish has worked across aged care, digital health, pharmacy technology, transport, urban technology, enterprise systems, construction, travel, and consumer technology. His work focuses on translating research and systems thinking into products, services, and ventures that operate in complex real-world environments.
Hamish is a First Class Honours graduate in Information Technology with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction, a member of the Urban Interfaces Lab at the University of Sydney, and a published HCI researcher with work appearing in JMIR, IJHCI, ACM CHI, and OzCHI.
