JZOS Downloads

Contains the latest and archive releases of JZOS sample applications. The JZOS batch launcher and toolkit are now part of IBM's product stream and available in the latest 1.4.2 (31 bit) and 5.0 (31 and 64 bit) SDKs.

Version 2.1.0 - Updated January 2, 2009

These downloads are compatible with the version of JZOS shipped with IBM's latest SDKs.

• z/OS Log4J Appenders - Apache Log4j Appender for z/OS Logstreams, files, etc.
• Batch Sample - Sample Eclipse project that contains several batch examples, including XML processing, DB/2 access, and SOAP web service access.
• Tomcat Sample - Sample Eclipse project for deploying and running Tomcat webapps. See the how-to: "Eclipse Tomcat Sample project" for more information.
• [JCL] TOMCAT - Runs Apache Tomcat under JZOS. This JCL can be used when Tomcat accesses DB2 via the type 4 (thin) JDBC drivers.
• [JCL] TCJDBC2 - Runs Apache Tomcat under JZOS. This JCL should be used when Tomcat accesses DB2 via the type 2 (OCI) drivers.
• Tomcat SAF Security 5.0 - Tomcat SAF Security Realm for Tomcat 5.0.X
• Tomcat SAF Security 5.5 - Tomcat SAF Security Realm for Tomcat 5.5.X
• Tomcat SAF Security 6.0 - Tomcat SAF Security Realm for Tomcat 6.0.X
• SAF test utility - NOTE: When unpacking on z/OS, use: pax -w -ppx -f saftest.pax
• Updated atools package - Enhanced version of the atools package, originally from the IBM tools and toys website.
